Wang Maowei from Shanxi is a master at making beautiful stick puppets(木偶). He
1 (fall) in love with the art form at a very young age and decided to make it a lifelong job.
Stick puppets have a history
2 over 2,000 years in China. Usually, it takes 40 to 50 days
3 (make) a stick puppet. The height of a puppet is 75 centimetres to 1 metre, and it has all kinds of costumes(服装) to fit different

“You should have basic skills to make puppets, and the most difficult part is to keep working without giving up
