On May 11th 2023, the first Shaxian Snacks restaurant in the Middle East opened in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. The red logo, orange chairs, white tables and open kitchen made the restaurant nice

Zhou Wei from Jiangsu has been working in Saudi Arabia for 13 years. When he
4 (hear) about the opening of the Shaxian Snacks restaurant, he rushed to try the food in it. “I just took a bite of the mixed noodles. They tasted just like the ones in China!
5 (eat) such real Chinese food in a foreign country made me feel at home,” Zhou said. “I hope

The menu provides more than 60 choices. These include noodles, dumplings, soup and rice. The
7 (own) of the restaurant, Zhang Shichao, was born in Shaxian, Fujian. He used to work in construction(建筑业). While visiting Saudi Arabia for a project in the 1990s, he noticed there were few Chinese food choices. That gave

In recent years, Shaxian Snacks has gone abroad with the Belt and Road Initiative. So far it
