Being an excellent student has more benefits than just getting good grades. In the short term, it will make you a good student and help you get the scholarships (奖学金). In the long term, the skills you learn at school will stick with you for the rest of your life, helping you solve any problem that comes your way. Here are some useful ways to be an excellent student.
Choose a quiet place to study. The more time you spend studying, the more you'll learn and the better grades you'll get. (1)

Make sure to keep away from cell phones, televisions and so on. Of course, you should find time to study when most of your classmates are doing something else.

It's common to say "I'll do it later", but often, "later" never happens. Study right when you get home or right when the last class is over. If you have trouble with a subject, study that one first.
