A
A mouse is a common part of a computer. It usually has two buttons and one scroll wheel. Many studies show that working with a mouse for long hours can hurt your wrists (手腕). A designer created a wireless computer mouse called Bat, which raises the controls to an ergonomic (人体工程学的) position.
The smart design includes a round pad and a mouse with a magnetic (有磁性的) ring that reduces the pain. Because of the ring, the mouse can float above the desk and stay in the air. Bat can float at a height of 40 mm by itself. When the user puts his or her hand on it, it goes down for about 30 mm. Besides looking cool, Bat
aims at stopping its users from hurting their fingers, hands and wrists because of using a common mouse.
The designer of Bat is Vadim Kibardin, who was born in 1974 in Russia. He moved to Prague and has been living there since 2005. It was in Prague that he started his own design workroom. According to Wallpaper magazine, the smart designer is on the list of 40 designers “who will change the world”.
Though the magic mouse has caught many people's eyes, the product is still under test and people can't buy it yet. When it is on the market, it will come in two simple colours—black and white.
