Selflessly, he donated(捐赠) this precious album to the Chinese Consulate—General in Chicago(中国驻芝加哥总领事馆). To express thanks for his kind deed, the consulate presented him with a national porcelain(国瓷) gift, an honour only shared by greats like John Rabe(拉贝) and Norman Bethune(白求恩).

Historically, during his one - month tour, he will visit famous cities in China, such as Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, and Nanjing, which are rich in relevant history and hold great appeal for him.
In Beijing, Evan had an amazing experience. One cold morning, although he was tired from his travels, he made his way to Tian'anmen Square for the raising of the national flag. People recognized him in the crowd. A kind - hearted young man from Huai'an, Jiangsu Province, saw Evan shivering(哆嗦) and offered him his military overcoat(军大衣). This simple yet moving gesture deeply touched Evan.
