Kwan is happy. The newspaper is having a writing contest (比赛). The winner’s (获胜者

Kwan says. “I will write about my favourite football player Mbappe. He is my hero.”
Kwan’s sister, Cho, “Can I join the contest?” “No. You’re too young,” Kwan says.
“You can’t win.” He picks up his ball and goes out.
Cho knows what to do. First, she picks up the newspaper. Next, she reads the contest
rules. Then she begins to write. “I believe that I can win,” she says to herself.
When Cho finishes, she finds her mother. She tells her mother about the contest. “Who do
you write about? A singer or a doctor?” asks Mother.
“Rosa Parks,” says Cho. “She was a fighter (斗士) for black people. She believed
everyone was equal (平等的), whatever (无论什么) colour of skin (皮肤) they were born with.”
