School Life for a 13-year-old British Boy Jim
I leave home at 6:45 and walk for 20 minutes to catch a bus to school. The bus is a special one，just for students to go to school. The trip on the bus takes about an hour because it stops to pick up(搭载) other students on the way.
When I get to school，I get my tablet(平板电脑)from the Student Centre. We listen to the head teacher，and we can know what special things take place at school.
At about 8:50，we go out of the Student Centre and then go to have our first lesson. All my lessons are in different classrooms. I have different teachers for different lessons. I have a locker(寄存柜) and I can put some of my things in it，so I don't carry them in my bags.
Every student has a swipe card(磁卡). We swipe(刷卡) it to have lessons and then the school can know which lesson we study and where we are.
On the swipe card，there are two stripes(条). One is black and the other is brown. The black one is to let us go into the classroom and the brown one is to let us go into other buildings. We can put money into our swipe cards，and we don't carry any paper money to pay for(支付) food and drinks. We just need to use our cards.
