In a small alley (弄堂) in Shanghai, there is a small room of 12 m². 1. Tao Peiqing started to work here in 1997.
Tao got to Shanghai in 1990. He was a good tailor (裁缝) and he made clothes for teachers and students. 2. And it was popular to buy fabrics (布) and ask good tailors to make clothes.
