Last month, I took part in a tree-planting activity organized by our school. I thought it would be boring but my parents encouraged me and joined me.
On that Sunday morning, we arrived at the park early. First, we dug holes with shovels. Then, we put young trees into the holes and filled them with soil. After that, we watered the trees carefully. The litter was also sorted into different kinds and thrown into the recycling bins. Everyone worked hard and helped each other.
I was tired but happy after the activity. It taught me the importance of labour and the value of working for the community. I also realized that teamwork makes tasks easier. I hope to take part in more such activities in the future.
