Before Father's Day, I found my father was unhappy because he was out of work. I decided to make him by buying him a special Father's Day present.
One day after school I rode to the Agins which was for fashion and styles. I told the shopkeeper that I was looking a Father's Day present.
"Do you think he'd like a ?" she asked. "I think he might," I told her. She took out a watch and I told her that he would like it.
"How money do you have?" she asked. " dollars," I replied.
"You're so !" she told me. "It's only 11. You have 1 for the ." She packed(包装) the watch and I thanked her, and I rode home with the gift under my arm.
When my father opened the gift, he was and asked, "Where did you get it?" "I bought it at the Agins. It cost me 11," I said. My father was shocked(震惊的) and didn't say anything.
Many years , I learned that the watch was worth(价值) several hundred dollars, I appreciated(感激) how wonderful the Agins was to me. I always felt that I never had a chance to thank the shopkeeper. My father said, "Letting you the watch for 11 dollars was unbelievable(难以置信的) enough. But what really amazes me to this day, my daughter, is the fact that she let you leave the store with a dollar for the card. It was a touch of kindness. I'll never it."
