I started teaching at a forest school five years ago. Every day there are new and exciting challenges for my students—and for me too! Together, we explore the forest and watch it change with the seasons. Forest schools are a wonderful way for students to be close to nature. When children spend time in nature, they feel happy and calm. It also helps them relax and pay attention better.

For me, a forest is the best classroom. As soon as I step into the forest, I feel happy and excited. There’s always so much to do! At my school, we can run around, play or just sit under the beautiful trees and chat. We have lots of class projects too. Often we build things out of sticks and rocks. I love working with my hands! I think it’s a great way to learn!

I go to a forest school every school day. I learn so much just by watching the trees around me. I always feel calm at my school. I know my classmates feel the same way too. During our lessons, we often listen to the wind blowing through the trees or the birds singing. By the time I leave the school, I always feel relaxed and at peace.
