五、学情分析

    本单元呈现了Mike在新学校的第一天的学习生活，也是三年级学生接触英语的第一课。学生在二年级的时候初步接触了一些英语对话和字母，在课文中出现的场景有校门外和教室内，Mike先后和新老师Miss Li和新同学Liu Tao和Su Hai互致问候，最后Miss Li给学生上课。另外，在字母的教学中，要让学生能够熟练的听说读写四个字母Aa,Bb,Cc,Dd.

一、Free talk:

1.T sing the song“Goodmorning.”with students and asks students to it using the same pattern.

二、Presentation andpractice

1、T talks about somefriends with students(Wang Bing,Mike,etc.)and introduce two cartoon friends:Acat and a mouse.

2. T show the images of thecat and the mouse and teaches the word :mouse.

3.T asks students to describethe cat and the mouse. They will be guided to say:The mouse is nice.The cat isfat. They are very cute.

4.T asks students to watch acartoon and answer the questions:

①What’s the cat’s name? ②What’s the mouse’s name?(Act:Hi,I’m Sam. Hi,I’m Bobby.)

5.T discusses the cartoonwith students and guides students to ask questions. e.g.①Who are they?②What are they doing?③How do the mouse greet thecat?

6.Students listen to the tapeand try to act this part to say the pattern:“Hi, I’m…”

7.T tells students:Bobby andSam are very happy.They are going to have a competition:Read and write theletters:A,B,C and D. T then divides the students into two groups. One refers tothe cat,and one refers to the mouse.Then T reads and writes the letters.
